Another great set! Cannot stop reading them. The steamy romance of it all leaves me sighing! I am officially a fan! Rescue Daddy: To a returning Vet, there's no place like home. On his drive home, Nash noticed the changes and he noticed the familiar sites, sounds and smells that let him know he was safely home! When Nash met Jahiah, he felt the lightening bold. Jahiah felt a pull of pure lust. Nash was dealing with PTSD and maybe survivor's guilt. Jahiah was struggling with PTSD from the foster care system and the burden of debt while raising a son as a single father. Jahiah encounted a server who flashed orange eyes, but he thought he was imagining it. Many have encountered the flashy eyes, but dismissed and forgot. Will the guys start a relationship beyond Jessie? Will the ages difference matter? Will the dragons finally show themselves? What's up with the military not giving benefits? Can Jahiah find a solution to his cash flow problems? While invstigating, Steve realized Ian was his mate. He also found, Skylar, Ian's dragon daughter. He took Sky to the compound to be watched out by the 'village'. Ian was in the hospital 2 months, then he went to the compound. It was nice getting to know Ian and Steve. There was not as much about Steve, but he still comes off as a good guy! The mating courtship is complicated by Ian's insecurities over his burns, Mike's insanity, the bad dragons' agenda toward the wolves and Ian and the trials. I want to hear about all the members of the community. The storytelling is easy, exciting, intriguing and the mystery is riveting.Detective Daddy: Loving your independence, would you bet your most prized possession you'd never succumb to charms of your fated? Rick is the detective everyone trusts, dad to 11 year old Emma. Dean, Alpha of Oceanside pack, living on peninsula of Timberwood Cove and loves his independence. Jaxson tries to encourage him to find his mate to start growing his pack. Dean, enjoys his independence too much. He scents Rick in the bar and immediate recognizes his mate, and realized he just gave away his Triumph. Rick, human, just thinks Dean is hot. His shifter partner, Steve mentions that Dean might be his mate. Rick is wary because Emma's Alpha dad walked away when he fell pregnant, so Alphas hold a special place in his heart. Will Dean make his move? Will Rick accept Dean? How will Emma look at a relationship? Does Emma prevail over her bullies? Dean and Rick marinate through the story. They bring the spice! Great story! Looking forward to meeting the wolves of Oceanside.Broken Daddy: Generous caring is sexy hot! Sawyer, reflecting on his life and the fact that his friends were finding their fated mates. He thought of his Omega, Keenan, found his fated and abruptly dumped him without a second thought for the life they had built. Troy, teacher, human Omega got pregnant by an Alpha who claimed he was infertile. Sawyer, scented his mate, but was not ready to commit. Or not ready, yet. Or, just going to think about it. Troy needed to decide what to do with the rest of his life with a baby and didn't have time for entanglements. Or, not yet. Or, maybe he can consider it, not! Fantasticly romantic story! The journey was everything good about romance. Well done, Mr Kingsley.Mason's Regret: When you're mature and ready, but your partner is not, what do you do? River, Omega, thought Mason was his one! River and Mason were best friends in college. River invited Mason out on a date, ready to confess his feelings. Mason stood him up. River realized, Mason had other priorities, so he told Mason, they were done. Then he learned his older brother, Brookes and his partner Hayden were in an auto accident and in critical care. He went to CA. Their baby, Isabella was okay. Brookes and Hayden wanted river to have custody. Then an Alpha sad down, sniffing and offering to explain about shifters. 11 years later, Dr River was living in Timberwolf and Izzy was almost 12. He had escaped from Luca, Izzy's Uncle who tried to control his life. He was too demanding/controlling for River. He left with his bf, Danny. 12 years later, Mason, was Oceanside pack. He saw River at the Christmas party and ran. River chased him. Then he realized, Mason was a shifter. There was a lot of heavy baggage sitting at their feet. They needed to open it and lighten the load and throw away the excess. River realized Mason knew they were fated and took his behavior in college as an additional insult. Will they be able to have a civil conversation? Will River listen? Will Izzy like Mason? Can River open up to shifters? Will Luca truly let River and Izzy go? Good story. Mason is a gem.
